Picked up a Zeiss Victory HT 3-12x56 off the Sample List. Gave it a test run this evening and into the night. Very impressive scope to say the least. Put it up against my Schmidt and Bender Zenith 2.5-10x56 Flash dot #7 reticle. The Zeiss has the non illuminated #20. Haven't had a chance to get my eyechart out but I'm pretty sure I can predict the winner. My wife also shared her opinions as to which scope performed the best. Although purely subjective we felt in terms of clarity and low light performance, the nod went to the Zeiss. The Zenith is a heck of a scope and the illumination is second to none . But the Zeiss to our eyes beats it. It has a pop to it that is wonderful. Even with no illumination I felt I could shoot into the night and precisely put the cross hairs where I wanted them. The Zenith on the other hand washed out without turning on the dot. That due in part to being a thinner reticle. Thanks Sample List for an excellent scope and an excellent price.

Fine scope that should be able to put meat on the table.

That might have been mine!
Awesome scope, very bright. No experience with the Zenith, love the Zeiss.

The Zenith is a fine scope but if brightness and a lighter scope is what you are after , this is the scope. Brightest I have ever looked through. I hope to put it up against a Meopta R2 2.5-15x56 soon.
