Awesome Cheaptrick:

Is this like BDC without the BDC, or without "Rapid Z"  if you know your scope and reticle.  Any additional info you may have on using this info would be great.  If you understand it well enough to boil it down to the lowest common denominator (me), I'm all ears.

I'm printing it now and will study it when time permits. Thanks.

I have the #20 reticle in the Conquest 4.5 -14X50 and 6.5-20X50.

The reticles that u have there should be simple plex. Once u know the subtensions of the reticle the info allows u to apply them for downrange zeroing, both vertical as well as horizontal trajectory, and rangefinding. The 4.5-14X u have should subtend 12.8" per hundred yds. post tip to post tip @ 14X. This would allow for an accurate interpolative system for downrange zeroing, and rangefinding should be good on big game.

The box says Z-plex,  is that a simple plex?

Thanks for the feedback.

Hey Cheaptrick,

Thanks so much for posting the substention info.      I have a Conquest 3.5x10.44 with the z plex reticle, under that listing it gives a series of figures for A (24-8)  B (4-1,3) C (0,7-0,2) all of these figures were taken from the 100 yard figures for a,b,c. I not really sure how to interpret the info, while it is in inches, what does that mean that for Substention A, B, C. Sorry in advance for asking?

A= plex post tip to post tip measurement in inches @ 100 yds. for 3.5 power, and 10 power.

B= thickness of widest part of plex posts @ both powers

C= thickness of thinnest portion of the reticle
