Hello again, I posted a while back looking for a scope for my T/C Pro Hunter chambered in 300 win. mag. I am now ready to buy and have read hours of material you guys have written. Here is my final question. Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44, 4a recticle NEW on swfa $599.95, or Kahles 3-9x42 CL Multizero, plex recticle, close to new condition on the sample list, also $599.95. My dilema, is the Kahles enough of a better scope to buy it used over the new Zeiss? I like the 4a recticle of the Zeiss, but I also like the A/O and multizero of the Kahles. I know I don't need the A/O or multizero of the Kahles so I guess it comes down to optics, and I don't know which to choose. What do you guys think?
Thanks for all your help,
DDG50

I believe the Kahles has a side focus, not an adjustable objective.

I have experinece of both brands and like Zeiss best. BTW have sold my Kahles, in my eyes it had inferior optics and not the same quality feeling when handling it, as Zeiss have.

The kahles should have a little better optics according to the many kahles users on the board. Side focus or AO is not to important with the power ranges mentioned.

Never owned either, but according to the guys on the site, you cannot go wrong with either one.

I feel just the opposite.... The Zeiss Conquest is no where near the quality of my Kahles C

I am happy to report that I purchased a new Kahles 3-9x42 CL with the 4a recticle from the SWFA site. I am expecting it to be delivered any day. Thanks for all the advice in helping me decide on a scope. When I have it mounted I will post some pics to show it off a bit.
Thanks again, DDG50

Happy Hunting!
