Carl Zeiss Sports Optics Announces New Two-Line Strategy at IWA


CHESTER, Va., April 28, 2005 – Carl Zeiss Sports Optics announced a new global strategy at IWA in Nuremberg, Germany last month that clearly defines the company’s two product lines.  Here in the United States, you will find the Victory and Conquest lines of Zeiss sports optics.  The Victory line represents Zeiss’ leading-edge technology.   The Victory binoculars, spotting scopes and riflescopes are state-of-the-art in their design and components, resulting in optical performance that is second to none.    As a result of the new two-line strategy, several name changes are taking place.  The VM/V Diavari and Varipoint riflescopes will now be called the Victory Diavari and the Victory Varipoint.  In addition, the award-winning Diascope spotting scopes will now be called the Victory Diascope.    The Victory Line consists of the following products:


VICTORY Binoculars:

Victory Compact – 8x20, 10x25;  Victory FL – 8x32, 10x32;   Victory FL – 7x42, 8x42, 10x42  Victory 8x56, 10x56, 12x56

“Specialty” Victory binoculars -- 7x50 Marine binocular;   8x56 Dialyt binocular



VICTORY Spotting Scopes:

Victory Diascope – 65 FL,  85 FL


VICTORY Riflescopes:

Victory Varipoint – 1.1-4x24,  1.5-6x42,  2.5-10x50,  3-12x56

Victory Diavari – 1.5-6x42,  2.5-10x50,  3-12x56,  6-24x56
