I'm considering purchasing a Diavari with the illuminated #60 reticle as Zeiss unfortunately doesn't offer their illuminated #40 reticle in a 42mm objective.

Before taking the plunge, if someone on the Forum has a Zeiss with the illum. #60 reticle, could you please take a picture through the scope on the lowest and highest magnification? I'm curious as to how the reticle actually looks (as online drawn pictures leave a lot to be desired) and how thick the posts are.

Appreciate the assistance.

Just some opinions:

I am testing a victory FL 4-16x50 with a zplex reticle
Given how good the glass is, I don't think an illuminated reticle is needed unless I was going to be hunting black pigs at night
For deer i lose the deer before the reticle
I run a S&B with a flashdot 9 on my pig gun (Wilson Combat 6.8)

I feel very confident out to 500 yards past legal hunting time (30 minutes past sundown)
with the deer rifle setup with the Zeiss (Nosler 280 Ackley)

Just some observations rom the field
