Howdy fellas, Newbie to the boards here.

I have decided that my next scope will be a Zeiss Victory Diavari 3x12x56Big%20Grin, The only ones I see do not have AO, but my local shop has one that does and it was otherwise identical to the regular one with the exception of the AO and reticle, is it an older model with the AO?????

In the same page with the title "better reticle", I made a question about Zeiss Victory Diavari  3x12x56 reticles. I have a Zeiss catalog but I didn´t find any chapter or mention about "AO". If you can explain what it means "AO"?. Thank you.

That was to answer Glockman, sorry.
I can't help much with the model you are talking about, either. The glass should be outstanding, which is typical of Zess though. There isn't any AO 3-12 on their web site.

Dear friends: If you can download the Zeiss catalog, you will see that  the new models aren´t provided with AO. Except, the Victory diavari 6x24x56 or 6x24x72, all the other models of this line are 100metres parallax free.  Pay attention that the new line since 2006 (I´m not sure) but without any doubt after 2007, comes with the "lotu tec" treatment. Salutations for you all.

Estimated Luv2shoot and for all the forum people:

I purchase a Zeiss Victory Diavari 3x12x56 riflescope with illuminated reticle Nº 40 for a CZ bolt action rifle 550 medium lux 7mm. Rem Mag., and I feel the happiest man in the world. Thank you very much.

Enjoy the Zeiss.

I looked again the other day and it is definitely an older model, it did not have the lotu tec coating.

Still so sweet though, gotta save a few more pennies.Big%20Smile
