I'm trying to find bases for a Zeiss Diatal-D. I want to mount this on a sporterized Springfield 03-A3.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is likely that you will have to have a claw mount made by a good gunsmith to fit the rifle.
1. Rail mounts never came into favor in the US. Mostly a European feature.
2 If your Springfield is a custom rifle and has been drilled and taped. It may not have a standardized dimension for the base screws.  Weaver El Paso made a base adapter that would allow the attachment a claw for a rail scope to weaver rings. I have no idea of how or where you need to go to find one of these. It will be old and rare and likely may not work for your rifle. You could try here for a custom made base.

3_tens,
Thank you, I'm going to see if my local gunsmith can do anything for me.
This scope is crystal clear and I'd really like to use it.

They were top of the line back in their day. The German #1 is one of my favorite hunting reticles Hard to figure why they went away.

A buddy has a 1903-A4 and has a Redfield Jr mount on it. So you might google Redfield Jr. Also there is a company that makes 1903-A4 and 1903-A3 clones call Creedmoor Sports, they might be able to help you.
