Does the Zeiss Conquest in 3-12x56 have a non magnifying reticle?  Any one out there look through one yet?

cheaptrick, what do you mean by an RFP?  I'm talking about the reticle mounted in the 2nd image plane.  Are we talking about the same thing?

1st plane reticle (also called front focal plane FFP) - reticle is mounted in the first focal plane before the lenses that magnify the image so the reticle gets magnified with the image causing it to subtend the same moa regardless of power setting.

2nd focal plane reticle (also called rear focal plane RFP) - reticle is mounted in the second focal plane behind the lenses that magnify image so the reticle is not magnified with the image and will subtend less moa as the power of the scope is increased.

The 3-12x56 Conquest has a 1st focal plane reticle.

Thanks Chris,  Zeiss needs to straighten up their advertisements which say all of the Conquests are RFP of 2nd image plane!
