OK, I have the same scope on a .270 Weatherby... I have the hunting turrent and here are a couple of pics... Get 'em set and they don't move... Hope this helps.. Oh, they come with caps (not pictured) to prevent any movement.

Not having a target knob, I can only asssume that the knobs will be like most other target knobs.  I don't think an accidental brush with a bush would cause movement but I do think an uncovered knob would be easier to move than a covered knob.  (.02)

Get the RapidZ 800 with the hunting turrets.  I have one and it is an excellent system.  It decreases your group size at the longer distances when you have an actual aiming point to "aim small" with rather than guessing at holdover.

I have a RapdZ 800 with the hunting turret

and a target turret installed by Zeiss

and much prefer the RapidZ.  The target turret can be reset so the "0" mark is on your zero at 200 yds but the turret can be turned a full rotation.  And if it is turned halfway around, which way did you accidentally turn it, clockwise or counterclockwise?  Roll Eyes

Zero stops are an excellent thing but they are only offered on a few scopes like my MultiZeros.

YMMV

Just to note: I had a zeiss conquest 4.5-14x50 for a couple days. VERY NICE optics! I'm not sure if it matter to you but the hunting turrets will decrease your elevation range compared to the non hunting turret model.

I have 2 conquests with target turrets on hunting rifles and have only had a knob bumped off accidentally once and it was not enough to matter (but has made me double check every hunt now). I love the verstility. Especially since you can submit all your load spec's or factory ammo specs (along with your rifle specs) to Kenton Industries and they with laser engrave you a turret set up however you want for that particular load. I have one on a .223 set up for quick yardage and Win.64 grn power points. And I have one one my .30-06 set for quick yardage and Win.168 grn ballistic tips ! Pretty awesome !!

Hey Julio, it is an anti-cant device.  Not the kind I prefer now which is the ScopLevel kind that folds up and folds down.  With the one shown you have to raise your head to check the bubble but with the ScopLevel you don't.

Big advantage on one like in the pic is that if you ever switch scopes then you don't have to re-level your reticle, just stick it in the rings and tighten 'em down.  It will let you know if you naturally hold your rifle at a cant or not.
