I recently bought a gun that had a Zeiss scope mouted on it. I am debating on selling or keeping it. Does anybody know anything about  the Zeiss 4 x 32 T  and is it worth keeping? The gentleman also gave me the box. The end label says Diatal-C 4x32 T. The side of the box  pictures the scope and has Diatal C - Diavari C.  Also: What is this scope worth in new condition?  Thanks!

I would totally get rid of it.  I will give you $25 cash right now so you don't have to have such a crappy scope.  Wink

I have no idea what it is worth, but if it is a Diavari model then it is one of their higher end scopes.  May be a bit of an older model, but I bet it is still a decent scope.

That scope was discontinued many moons ago. That is very unfortunate, one of the best 4x scopes I've ever used. It was on a Mark V .378 Wby and the scope was a real pleasure to use on a B-8 target @ 200 yards. I can't say the same for the gun.

They are very nice scopes if you like fixed power, if you dont' you can sell if for a decent amount or trade it in.  I'd give SWFA a call to ask them the trade in value of that scope and then add some to it for a price of what its worth selling it to someone else

They don't make them any more so I can't give you a new price on them.  Unlike these cheap so and so's I'll give you 50 dollars.

I'm interested in learning more about the Zeiss Diatal-C 4x32 as well.  How does this scope compared to the other european 4x's?

Thanks
