Hi all,
I have two questions to asked. Are all Zeiss Conquest Scope airgun rated? Are there any differences between the Zeiss 3-9x40 Conquest and the NEW Zeiss 3-9x40 Conquest?
Thanks, all... |

They are not airgun rated, and they have parallax set at 100 yds, now I would be hesitant to try and get even a precharged gun at the max setting to that target. Bushnell trophy is the longest lasting airgun scope I have ever used still in one peice after I have shot at least 1000 rds out of my Beeman RX-2 every weekend for about 8 years, you do the math. I have used airforce, leapers, BSA, simmons, and leupold scopes, the leapers scope won over that group but it still checked out within 2 years, the rest lasted less than one year, the simmons doing the best. A trophy may not have the clarity of a most 400$ scopes, but at least it will work for a good chunk of your lifetime. Another note, you pretty much have to get a scope with parallax correction (usually A/O) because at the close ranges a difference of 10 meters you wont even be able to see the target.
If you use a regular riflescope that is not built for the backward reciol I don't even want to think what would happen to the scope after a bit. |

Mind if I ask which of the Leapers that you use? How is it compared to your other scopes as far as the lense's quality?

I got rid of it a long time ago and I don't know if they make the model anymore, It was a 3-9x40mm with A/O and an illuminated mil-dot reticle, the glass was similar to a bsa or tasco scope. (I wouldnt rate it better than much)
