Hey guys.now i know hairs are split on this forum on a daily basis when comparing euro scopes. But i just have question. now personally own a swaroPH and love it. but are the z6s really that much better. Im asking because theres nowhere in my area that i can observe one. Ive been told there the best low light scope period. ever better than a Zenith or a diavari FL. im simply asking. im sure plenty of you guys have owned or own one and compared them. my PH is a great scope, but from what im hearing the z6 is the top dog. its about scope buying time again and if i dont buy the S&B 10x40 (another scope im trying to get more info on) then im gonna get a 1.7x10 z6 off the sample list to refir on my mark v. and and all info appreciated

I have both.  I'll try and look through both tonite and tell you if I see a difference.  I do like the FFP of the PH series compared to the Z6 SFP

I have comparred my Z6I  1-6x24 CD ret.[the cats meow]vs my Fl 4-16x50 Z800 & all I can say is over all I would take the Fl for long distance & Z6 for up close up to 200yds.There really is something magical about that Fl glass, but to be fair it's 24 vs 50 optical difference & that may be why I favor the Fl!

Another very, very good glass is the Leica,in fact it's the only scope I own that looks like the BDC ret is floating in space. For as good as the Leica is I would still take Z6 & Fl over it for the machanical differences alone.

Stickbow im glad you mentioned Leica. back when they were having that 500$ trade in program, i started giving Leica a good look. Problem was i read some bad reviews on the scope. The scope scare has it right up there at the top. wonder what the deal is with that. Are the made right on par with s&b, Zeiss, ect??

I don't own a S&B,but they more than hold there own with Zeiss & Swaro.I was comparing the 3 early this morning, they are all fantastic.

As far as the scope reliability they are giving a 3 yr.no question asked quality control replace with a new scope guarrenty.I called them & the rep also told me their scopes come with a lifetime warrenty. It seems they are bending backwards to get their customers back, and the CS is a great improvment over 3 years ago!

i think alot of use Ole Leupold Faithfuls are spoiled with their over the top warranty. only ever used  it one time. but it was there if i needed it. but truth be told we paid for it when purchasing their overpriced product.
