Anyone know the length of the eyepiece or ocular bell, on a Swaro 1-6x24 Extended eye relief scope?

I have a 375 Weatherby that has a 1.5-6x42 PH mounted and I can't mount it far enough forward to keep the spring loaded eyepiece from lightly brushing my glasses when fired. Eye relief isn't an issue, just clearance.

Changing the mounts to something that overhangs the action opening is only an option after I have my neck shortened!Big Grin

Nice forum...I have lurked about but just registered.

Thanks!

Try: www.swarovskioptik.us/en_us/home.  My guess is that the z6 scope that you are talking about is the same as any other z6 ocular lens bell, dimensionally.  You can find dimensions in the owner's manual section, I believe.

Yea, I looked at the website but if I 'm looking at it right, the ocular bell figures out at 4+ inches.  Longer than the PH with its shock absorber eyepiece.  Seems wrong.

I get A1-(E+F)=4.13 "  for an un-illuminated, un-railed one.

The PH I have runs about 3.625" so either way it won't be an improvement.

Back to good old Leupold I guess.Big Grin
