I have a Zeiss 3x9 MC Conquest w/ a Z Plex and when I level my scope body and turrets the reticle is canted. Scope is brand spanking new. I used a level to make my rifle level and did the same with the scope. I lined up the reticle with a plumb bob and the turrets were skewed right. This is my first Zeiss and I'm disappointed in my experience. I filled out their technical question in the support site but would like to know what others think. Thanks

I did not have that trouble.  I'm sure Zeiss will take care of you.  As with any brand, a lemon or two will make it to market.  I have to say, that is the first I have heard of a canted reticle in a Conquest.

Give Zeiss a chance to make it right.

pretty sure you could just return it and get a replacement.  I have 2 of these on my Son's rifles and they are great.  Will probably get more!

Unfortunately, canted reticles aren't exactly uncommon.  I've not heard of this problem in a Conquest before, though.  I'm sure Zeiss will fix it.

Zeiss CS should be good for whatever is ailing.
Are you sure it isn't you? (absolutely no offense meant)
I thought I had a canted reticle on a different brand once and it was my eyeglasses and the way I tilted my head a bit when I sighted that rifle. Others couldn't see it, my other rifles didn't show the same phenomenon and when I stood directly behind the rifle and sighted through the scope without bending or twisting my face to the side, the cant disappeared.
I wear different specs now and don't have any problems. It was just some strange combo of optics/eyes that gave the impression of a cant for me.
