It is a killer pic! That's Shiprock in New Mexico, what remains of an old volcano, saw it during my travels a couple of weeks ago. You could see it miles away on the highway, it totally stood out with what appeared no other rock formations around it until you got closer.

I used to live in Farmington.....and then moved to Cortez....and then to Dolores....

I got pictures of Angel Peak and Largo Canyon somewhere in my boxes of photos, too.....and Monument Valley....

I sometimes stopped for a cold drink at the Nageezi Trading Post....that's all it is....

Driving through Farmington seemed to go on for ever, lol.

I really liked the mountain areas around Red River and parts of Taos, saw lots of big horn sheep.
