I would appreciate it if someone could identify this scope; I'll be as accurate as I can.

10x fixed power with adjustment to focus from infinity to 25. (I don't what unit of measurement.)
Two tall (about and inch) windage and elevation adjustment caps. Has knurled knobs for hand use under caps... no tools or coins needed.
Front objective is 50mm and rear is 40mm diameter.
There's a "hood" that threads into the front objective that's 55mm long.
Gloss finish.
Rear objective has a locking ring. I assume it's used to calibrate to an individual's eye.
Reticle is thick cross-hairs from outer diameter and turns into thin cross-hairs near center.
It was manufactured, I think, in 1981.
Serial M1328xx

The good folks at Leupold thought it was a competition or target scope.

I'll be honest and tell you the reason I'm trying to identify this scope is because I need to sell it, so if anyone has an idea regarding value it would be great. Scope is in very very nice condition and has Weaver rings on it.

I also have a vari x2 3-9 new in its box.

Thank you very much.

Eric M.
