I had a zillion war movies on VHS years ago. I used to sit my girls down ( ages 8 and 10 and up ) and I would show them these movies in historical chronological order. So, we had fun and ate popcorn and they learned a lot about the Big War while being entertained.
They enjoyed themselves and learned about Pearl Harbor, Wake Island, Bataan, 30 Seconds over Tokyo, Midway....etc, etc...
That's a great idea Ed. My biggest problem with WWII was the chronology of the war.
I wonder, if you were showing them "Enemy at the Gates", would you take an intermission half way through the movie to show them "Tora, Tora, Tora"?
