RUN!!!!!!!!! Fast and far, duck and dodge. There are so many very good scopes out there, that have been tried and true after the ringer has had them. Stick with them, until others have had the displeasure, or the pleasure of having dealt with the no names.

Remember- always be wary of companies that use the words LIGHT GATHERING. Scopes do not gather light, they transmit available  light. A good, reputable company will publish their transmission capabilities, and usually have a range of 92 - 98%.
Rest assured the guys on this forum will lead you in the right direction.

Comment Re Leupold Ratings: Leupold scopes are outstanding, but we will not rate them 5-stars until Leupold improves tracking stability so 3rd-party solutions are not required, and until Leupold re-engineers its side focus to eliminate lash and to allow near-zero parallax with ideal target sharpness. It can be done. The lesser-priced side-focus Zeiss Conquest has no lash problem and it delivers near-zero parallax and ideal target focus at the same time

this is a problem the Benchrest community is having with the leupolds any one else notice this?
