That sounds great to me... hotter than a two-peckered puppy in May here.

I'd take that.  We dry here and all we get are 20% chances.  Good thing is half way cool around here or we would burn up.

Heck, this year it has been too cold for tornadoes or even a good thunder storm.

Had 3 tornadoes within 5 miles of my house 2 years ago. I should have taken pics of the destruction. I feel pretty lucky to have my house.

Hope the frost didn't hurt the plants!  When do the local farmer if any plant?  here the rule is never plant before mother's Day.

Morning Craig, don't you ever sleep too?  What timezone are you in?  Brandon and I are EST or EDST.

Hi bud, get to "work"  around 0700 and turn on the computer.  Same time zone as you I think.  Just turned 0817 here.

I am not very good at geography so I popped out an goggled it.  I thought Ontario was farther west.  I also for some reason got het impression that you lived in western Ontario.  If your EST like I am then you have to be in thet Eastern part.  Alot closer than I thought. Smile

Not at all, not at all.  Do you enjoy walleye fishing?

The lake system where our camp is does not have walleye so rarely get to fish for them.  Bass and pike fishing is excellent though.  Some perch as well in the smaller lakes off ours.

Just got back to the desk for lunch...

By Bass, I take it you mean smallies?  I don't think large mouths could stand the winter temps.  Grew up in florida fishing for Large mouths.  Bass are good eating but wallies are better.  I used to service a hospital account in Ashtabula, OH then drive over to Port Clinton to spend the night and go out on a headboat for the Wallie spawn in trhe flats.  Fun stuff.
takes a light line and fine feel to detect a wallie taking the bait on the fall!

Large mouths take the winter just fine.  Lots of our lakes around here have nice large mouths in them.  They don't get as big as down south.

That's one good thing about California, fishing for largemouth can be phenomenal and catching a double digit toad is very common.
