well im no help there, just seen pictures, looks like a win m70 but i understand the trigger has been upgraded which is a welcome change

..........................I haven`t handled one. But I did see an interview on the "American Rifleman" TV show a few months ago.
 
The Winchester rep said that there is going to be many improvements on the new 70`s vs the older 70`s including the pre 64`s; triggers, actions, etc.

I tried to get a stainless Mod 70 about three weeks ago and my gun guy could not get them yet. He said it would probably be after the first of the year before he could get me one. I would like to have one in .308 with a stainless conquest scope on it.
