Anybody know anything about the Winchester 94 Wrangler in 32 special?  My uncle just gave my Dad one that he bought in the early 80's (rifles were manufactured between 1982 and 1985) that has never been shot.  We are trying to figure out if we should shot it and have fun or leave as is if it is worth something.  From my limited research, the rifle is worth $400-$600 depending on condition.  The rifle has the large loop and a 16 inch barrel.

I would just shoot it.  It is not a pre 64.  You'd have to wait fifty years for that to be collectible.

Only thing I CAN tell you what my '03 Blue Book has in it.  In 100% condition it shows $350(I don't put much creedance in the book values). Also says it's a Wrangler II.  Made in '83 to '85 but the .32 Special version was discontinued in '84.  About it.

If you check the on line auctions it's the pre 64 Model 70's and 94's that bring the higher price. I have a LNIB 30 30 model 94, made in 1962 that I'm real partial to.

I have a pre 64 Win 94 in .32 Spl. It's a dandy little rascal and fun to shoot. Ballistically, it's almost the same as a 30-30. Shoot it and enjoy it.

I live in Upstate NY near Canada and I would guess that over the years more deer and black bear have been shot here with a Winchester 94 than all other rifles combined.

I used to have one of those, dandy of a rifle.  Check the current prices.  Last time I looked Model 94's were going for big $$$.  Naturally, anything pre-64 is worth more
