Did you ever wonder why earrings became so popular with men?

A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring.

The man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow, and is curious about his sudden change in "fashion sense"

The man walks up to him and says, "I didn't know you were into earrings."

"Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring," he replies sheepishly.

His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to ask, "So, how long have you been wearing one?"

"Ever since my wife found it in my truck."

There was a black guy at work that had a ring in his nose.
I told him: "I used to have a ring in my nose, but then I got a divorce."

Pissed him off...

I love it! Excellent  Excellent  Excellent

I went to pick up my grandson from his father's Monday.
When the twit got out of his car to deliver Aiden he was sporting 2" diameter wooden pucks in his earlobes!!!  It was windy and they were flopping around.  I just about burst out laughing!!!  Told him he was German and not an aborigine.  Funny but he got pissed too.... Hippie

I've told my boys for years "Real Men Don't Wear Earrings."  "You didnt ever see John Wayne wearing earrings."  so far that line of thought has worked just fine. Ive been known to torment their friends who have earrings. I dont see much value in it but then again it defies me why so many people now have tattoos compared to 30 yrs ago.

Hunter your talking apples and orange here my friend!  One a choice to try and stand out, the other a choice to try and survive cancer...

I too am at a loss over the popularity of tattoos.  I'm  sorry to say both my son and daugther have several.  At least neither have multiple piercings....not to mention the ridiculous ear plugs or subdermal objects.

that maybe so bud, but the point is that adding or taking something from your body doesnt make you any more or any less of a person. i dont know why got mine done, but i did. i have no plans to take it out, and i dont really even think about it being there.

True.  I think what Wes is saying is he'd rather a person stand out by their deeds and daily conduct rather than accoessories...

Well I think it is a touchy subject for many cause the pagentry of jewelry is often closely tie to ones religion beliefs.  The bases of one objecting is more probably related to that than a challenge or questioning to ones manhood.  Which is another touchy subject.....so it can to a powder keg for sure.
