I tried to upload the pics but the files are too large so I’ll try to explain.

I have/had 2 different crossbow scopes:

- one has a 44mm objective with a huge ocular, and a longer focal length

- the other has a 36mm objective, a smaller ocular, and shorter focal length

But the reticle’s specs for the smaller scope has heavier lines and chevrons for various yardages, but the larger scope’s more frail reticle lines and chevrons are easier to see.

Both scopes were tested at 4x even though the larger scope is 2.5-10x44mm and the smaller scope is 2-7x36mm.  Both scopes were from the same company although the larger scope was a lot higher up the food chain.

Any reason as to why or is it just my bias of one scope versus the other? Thanks.
