A large percentage of the ZEN ED 2 initial shipment, particularly the 7x36 is pre ordered.  This is from a conversation I had when I preordered mine.

I already have first generation ED. The one that interests me is the 7x36 discussed in another thread. Does anyone know when the 20% coupon for ED2 will end?  Still not sure whether I need another pair of binoculars since the ZEN ED works perfectly for me now.

After doing some reading about these, I've gone from wondering what the buzz was about to seriously considering ordering the 8x43s.

Here in the UK there are no ZenRay dealers.

I already own the Hawke ED 8x43 and was thinking of buying the new Hawke ED 8x36 which will be available first week of Aug.

After reading the various ZenRay 7x36 threads, I've placed my order for the Zen's.

I hope everything goes smoothly with shipping and I hope to post my thoughts as soon as possible.

Great Forum.

Just received my 10x43 ED2's yesterday. I pre-ordered late too.  Optics look super. However there seems to be a bit of play in the focus adjustment. Anyone else experience this? Thought I'd ask here before contacting them.

I ordered from Zen. I thought it was the only option.

Tracked mine today, should be in my hands within the next 4 hours, and not a day too soon.  Whitetail season opens in the AM.

Binos are in HAND!  First impression out of my office is WOW!  No comparison to the NIKON ATB's I sold.  Thanks for a quick delivery , Chris.  Super job!  Totally impressed!

One morning in the woods and I am totally blown away.  Clarity, color, and light transmission on a foggy morning in the SC woods--incredible product!!  Thanks Charles and Zen Ray.  I will post a better review in the near future!

I am more than just disappointed that my 7x36 bins did not arrive today as it is my birthday :(   USPS tracking is of no help as all it still shows is that the package was processed through the Portland center on 8-13 at 7:04PM.  Folks in PA and FL among others are reporting receiving theirs today yet here in SD no joy.

Bob, I am so sorry to learn that the package didn't arrive as expected. I found Priority mail works more predictable from coast to coast.  Often time, they do not scan the progress of the package until the package is delivered. I wish you a happy birthday (minus the disappointment from the 7x36 :)) It should show up no later than Monday.  Please let me know what you think once you have it.

Thanks Charles.  I guess hitting the magic 62 and eligibility for social security was unsettling enough to precipitate my lament above.  Sorry.

Late tonight I found the tracking was finally updated showing that the package left a sort facility 350 miles east of here at 10:02pm Friday night. Bets are it's in a trailer that hadn't been offloaded and sorted before mail was collected for delivery Saturday. At least I know it definitely will be delivered to me Monday.
