Does anyone here know where it's made? Germany? Japan? US?
I'm not asking who the designers are and where they are from, they're German. And the OT assembly is made here in the US. |

I am pretty sure that it is German. But really doesn't make a difference, as all manufactures will have several different "levels" of glass.

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I'm almost certain it's German too. Regardless, it is incredibly clear glass and their optics designs avoid tunneling.

There are only a few manufacturers of quality optical glass in the world, Schott Germany, Ohara Japan, LZOS Russia, and if anyone else knows any others I would like to know, but as far as I know there aren't any in the US.

Optronika GmbH in Germany manufacturers most of the parts for Premier scopes and now they also started to make some of the Premier scopes from start till the end. I think that they probably buy the glass from Schott.

I called Armament Technologies today, they are Premier's master distributor for North America. They said it is German made but that was all they knew. It's probably Schott. There are many manufacturers using their glass but don't advertise it.

Premier has had a very close working partnership with S&B over the years & I think that may be who's making their glass.
This is just a simple result so don't take it to serious.I compared my S&B Zenith 2-12x50 7A illum to my Premier Hunter 3-15x50 7A illum & couldn't tell them apart.Tried at several different times of the day at distances from 50-300 yds. Subjective & only my $.02.Some of the best glass that money can buy.................

I would be very surprised if S&B was making anything for Premier.
As far as the source of the raw optical glass goes, it is German to the best of my knowledge. Just for the record: the country of origin for the glass is completely meaningless. For example, Schott has glass making factories all over the world, including the US, China, Germany, etc. ILya
