Anyone know who manufactures or manufactured the bottom base? It's not a Weaver. The top base is Weavers extension base in place of their #46 base. I'm thinking it's a Leupold Rifleman Series base or possibly B-Square. I have two that are identical except one has L46 on it. I've checked catalogs, the internet, all 3!! of our gun shops. I need two more!

                 RONK,
It'll work on a number of different rifles but it was a front base for my Win. M70 XTR.  But I've been working with someone on line who may be wanting to use two of them on their Savage M11 which takes two std #46 Weaver bases. They bought a Sightron ll 4X Compact scope and a set of Talley bases. The scope fits in the rings but there is no gap at either end. Max ring spacing on that scope is 4.4". The distance between the two fartherest apart base mounting holes on that Savage is 5.65". As of course I don't have the rifle to work with, what I did was mount the bases on a piece of ply wood at that 5.65" spacing with the two outer notches facing each other. With a set of Leupold Rifleman Series verticle split rings that I have mounted on these bases in the two closest notches,I get an outer ring to outer ring measurement of less than 4.25". This makes for a real nice set up as the bases are just about even with the rings and shouldn't extend into the rifle loading port. I hope I explained this clear enough! It's the only option other than a 1 pc base, which their not sure they want to go with,or an extension Talley base, which I don't  know anything about but their suppose to be borrowing one to try. Anyway that's where we're at. I've got two of these bases that I really don't want to part with even though I'm not using them cause as soon as I let em go I'll need em.  Any help will be APPRECIATED!!

I get the gist of what's going on, but I wonder if the base you have is really a Weaver that somebody milled an extra slot into.  If you can't find what you are looking for, that should be an easy solution if you have access to a milling machine, or a square file and a  lot of patience.

I honestly don't think so as there's not enough room on a std #46 Weaver base for an extra slot and if someone would have modified the top base in the picture it would still be marked 402.  The std #46 and ext #402 are the only two bases Weaver makes for rifles calling for a #46 base. Oh well, maybe someone will recognize it sometime. I guess if the guy I'm helping can't come up with something I'll let the two bases I have go and deal with it later. THANKS for the help!!
