Does anyone have a recommendation for a good , reliable night vision rifle scope in the price range of about $400. I am considering either a ATN Aries MK350 for $400 or a Yukon Titanium 1.5x42 for the same price but I am just starting to do my homewrk and do not know who makes a better unit.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

I bought this oen about a month or two ago
So far it has served me well.  I have it on a .308 Remington SPS tactical cut down to 16" running subs out of it through a can.  I will say this, good cheek weld is impossible to obtain with the height of the scope and how close you have to hold your eye to it.  That said with what I am doing it works good.  Surprisingly clear for Gen I too.  So far about a half dozen yotes and foxes have fallen to it.  One thing i do not like is the reticle has no holdover design, its pure guess, can't dial in but i'm limiting myself to 100yds or so with it and haven't missed yet.   Yukon's warranty appears to be good as well.  I'll get some pictures up tonight if I have time.

You can see from these pictures that the cheek weld is ungodly difficult to use but its working for the time being.

Very intersting info on the Yukon. One hundred yards is no problem, then.

I just checked and NV is legal for predators in Michigan. Graham, do you like this set up better than using a laser designator?
Not meaning to hijack, but this scope fits the bill as far as the OP.

i do like this set up Doug.  Its been everything I wanted it to be.  I was not expecting a lot and ended up getting a lot.  The eye position is the only issue  I wish was different but its still working.  My longest conection with a yote was at 109 yds so its effective. If it had some sort of holdover or way to turn the turrets I'm sure I could connect out to 200 with no problems.  We had been having issues with coyotes and foxes with a few braisen ones acting aggresively towards our dogs. I got it for that purpose.  I had an ND3 and used it in the past, I like this better.  Have not attempted to take any pictures through the scope at night but will try to get you some tonight if I have time.   I am very pleased with it Doug.  If your really interested in one PM me first.

Graham, you should build you a subsonic AR.  THat would take care of your cheek weld problems.

Not subsonic but does a 450 count?
