I was recently given a 3x9x40 scope that has Charles Daly stamped on it.  It has no other markings other than the power.  I know Charles Daly usually has their stuff made for them and they just put their name on it.  Does anyone have any idea who made scopes for them?

There are many factories in the orient that makes scopes for just about everyone.  None of the names you recognize actually own factories.  IE:  There is no Bushnell or tasco factory.  Knowing what factory made the scope means nothing, because companies like Charles Daly have scopes built to their own specs in many cases.  These factories are capable of making anything you want from low end Wal-Mart scopes to high end name brand scopes.

At one time Charles Daly scopes were made in one of the Japan factories that also built the tasco World Class and the Daly scopes were just re branded World Class scopes.  If you can post a picture of it I can probably tell you a little more about it.
