A big, mature whitetail buck in my area will dress out from 125 - 150 lbs. There might be the occasional big buck that matches the dressed weight of the largest deer in your area. It might be more the norm in heavy agricultural areas where the deer get super high quality forage or in river bottom habitat where the soil is richer, but from what I've seen, that's not common in the typical deer habitat here.

In general, the further north you go and the colder the average winter temps get, the greater the average body size of deer and other wild mammals. This is known scientifically as "Bergmann's Rule."

Last I couldn't find the average deer harvested for last year but I believe it was 97 Lb average. Up from 84 lbs in the mid 80s.
The drought and heat the last 4 years has taken a massive toll on not only the deer but all wildlife populations here.
Using only harvest data as an indicator of herd health. The following harvest figures are for Cherokee GMA near where I did hunt. No other reason to pick this area other than I have hunted here. The numbers are reflected across the state.
These are total harvest for archery, Black powder and rifle hunts in this management area.
YEAR         Buck           Doe      Year total

1999            128            55             183
2006            128            63             191
2008            209            99             308
2010             43             36              79
2011             51             22              73
2012             29             18              47

Harvest numbers showed consistent growth until 2009 when the drought first started. Record breaking heat an lack of rain reduced the food and water necessary for healthy herds. With so few does left to reproduce it will take years for the herds to repopulate.

Mature bucks in our area of central Ontario will generally dress out around 180-210 lbs.  Largest ever shot from our camp weighed out at 253 on the Ministry  scales; that one was not a fun drag out of the bush.  Our racks are not exceptionly large but our deer are heavy bodied.
