Hello everyone:
First of all, I would like to introduce myself, as this is the fisrt time I writte on this forum, although I have been reading its posts for some time.  My real name is Pedro, and I´m from Spain, so I apologise for my bad english.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a brand new Kahles K624i, GEN III, that works superb, but I have noticed that, inside the narrow gap that is between the zoom rings, and the scope body, next to where the magnification numbers are, there is a white stuff that seems to be grease or so.  The amount is small, and it covers about an 1/8 of the total perimeter of the gap.  My question is:  should I be concerned about a grease leaking, because of the ring not being correctly sealed?

     Greetings from Pedro Hernandez (Spain)

Thank you, cheaptrick.

What´s the reason for the grease to be inise the gap? An excess when aplying it at the factory?

               Greetings from Spain
