Anybody got an ETA on the 6586's? I think my trigger finger is going to go into DT's.

I don't know --- I ordered one then gave up and cancled it after about a month - there are a couple of Nikon scopes I would buy if I knew I could get one of  them  the 6586 is one and the fixed 6x42 is the other. I may just have to scrape together more money and go with the new 5-20 - pretty cool power range and side focus too. I got side tracked by an EOTech.

Don't feel bad I've had a monarch gold ordered since Jan. 9  and still no word.

I'll bet it's a mad house trying to fill all the orders with the prices that low. Stores in Des Moines haven't a clue that the  old models are being replaced so prices are still maxed out here. About August they will be selling them to the uninformed. Just wish I had snagged a fixed 6x42 before they went bye bye. All the more reason they should make a 6x42 Super Sniper.

There is really no down side here you get last years Monarch model at a great price or you get a better power range and side focus and pay a little more for an improved scope.

Yea, I was so tempted to wait and buy one later, because nobody else really has them on sale and I think in a few months you are going to see the scopes showing up at places like competitor and Sportmansguide etc.  But, I did not want to take a chance and bought the 6586 also.

I got my 4x fixed and ran it through a good workout on it's new home: a Remington 700 .375H&H in a Six Industries stock.

I can't believe the scope was under 200 dollars delivered.  Now if my 6.5x20 would show up, I'd be in heaven.
