Does any one know why I cannot find any remington premier Core lokt Ultra for my .300 win mag in 180 gr? I have scoured the web everyone is out and checked multiple stores in town and have bought the last 3 boxes from sportsmans warehouse 4 weeks ago and the last 2 boxes from Bass Pro Shops on thursday. I am not trying to stock pile copious amounts of ammo, i just want ammo on hand to get practice with my rifle at various distances before hunting. Some websites say that the item is discontinued but others Say they expect stock in by aug 2nd. Does someone know anything i dont or is it just because its almost hunting Season?

Folks have been stockpiling ammo in all calibers. Try to find some .22 LR. Eventually, it will all even out (but when is the obvious question).

I found it... try ammoseek.com... there are a number of places that have it in stock. It's hypervelocity, but uses the core-lokt ultra bullet. Good stuff...

I'd say heck just roll your own, but you might not be able to duplicate that "hyper" velocity and you might not be able to buy components any easier, anyhow.

I picked up some of these Winchester and shot them on friday. They shot pretty well. A lot better than the last Winchesters I bought for my Rifle. (XP3s) They would do in a pinch if i couldnt find any Remington Thank you for your suggestion. I posted a couple Pics in my other thread Shooting Question.
