Looking at the pics I can see target turrets and no gold lettering leading me to believe they are maybe a tactical version? just guessing. and they are 30 mm tube but so are some of the regular monarchs.

Stronger 30mm tube and target turrets on the X, formerly known as the Nikon Tactical.
IIRC, the glass is the same UCC glass as is on the Monarch line.
The 4-16x50mm "X" suffers from a lack of W/E adjustments. The 2.5-10x44mm is better in this regard.
There are some dated, but very informed reviews of the Nikon Tactical's I can provide, if your interested.
