Back in the old days, I wore blue jeans and a OD field jacket hunting (and killed deer).  You know what they say: fishin' lures aren't made to catch fish, just fishermen.

That mirror unit seems pretty bizarre.  Can't see it working on a sunny day, a shiny scope would be the least of your worries.

It would be great during the rut when a huge buck saw itself reflected in it, and came to fight your blind................so long as you are not in it.

Check out this.
It looks like it would be great camo and would work well for all types of game.

From the GhostBlind videos I have watched the mirrors are angled to get rid of sun reflection.   The sun hits the mirror and is reflected down to the ground infront of the blind.

I'd sure like to try one out.
Clever idea, and it looks to be very effective if used correctly.

We don't carry portable mirrors around with us.  We don't do it in Wyoming, either.  Or New Mexico.

I think I'd set mine up with the mirror side facing toward me, just so I could admire how awesome a hunter I am, from several different angles!

Then when you were done with that you could take it home, put it over your bed and admire what a great lover you are.

Doesn't everyone?  If not they should, and then maybe they would turn the lights out next time.

Chris,

We need your help. GhostBlind Industries is the manufacturer and sole distributor of the GhostBlind Predator mirror blind. There has been much talk and confusion on hunting forums about mirror blinds lately. We have recently been notified that one company in particular has been using our trademark, GhostBlind as if it were their own or just a generic term. GhostBlind is a trademark of GhostBlind Industries, Inc. for a reflective hunting blind. You can see our site and products at www.ghostblind.com . You will notice from watching the videos on our site, the GhostBlind is nothing like any of the other mirror blinds on the market. Because of this infringement, hunters are confused about what or who the GhostBlind is.

HuntSports (using various member names, including Big Daddy) has been using our trademark, apparently in an attempt to drive business to their website. This is the company that says they sell instructions to build a GhostBlind for anywhere from $5.95 to $19.95. They are also using several other companies names to entice people to buy their plans. Our attorney has recently sent legal notice for them to cease and desist using GhostBlind trademark or any pictures pertaining to our products.

We have purchased HuntSports Instruction Download PDF and it is misrepresentation to the consumer about who produces the product. They claim to be selling plans to build a GhostBlind, but we have nothing to do with the plans. Even though the plans they are selling have pictures of a GhostBlind, they have nothing to do with actually building a GhostBlind brand hunting blind, but rather their plans only describe the different materials a person could use to build any mirrored hunting blind. They have no permission to use GhostBlind or any of our pictures in the sale of any plans they are promoting.

We would greatly appreciate if you would clarify this misrepresentation to your members so they don't waste their money on these plans and also to clear up the fact that GhostBlind is not associated with HuntSport or any other company selling mirror blinds or plans. There is a big difference between the GhostBlind and any other mirrored blind in the industry.

We do not have a problem with competition so long as the consumer understands which company is offering which blind.

Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments of suggestions as to how to clear up this confusion.

Thank you for your time.

Kevin Pottmeyer

If anyone sees anything that would indicate something pertaining to the deliberate scam of one these fakes come up in this forum, please notify myself or another Moderator so we can help these nice folks out. They obviously come here and visit, and likely do business with SWFA. We should help them all we possibly can.
