Welcome to the OT.

Clearly there are some vaild assumptions that can be made... you have a 375 H&H Magnum, probably a hunting rifle.

More info... what are you hunting, where?  TOD?  I have one, so I am quite familiar with my requirements, but you would be better served if we knew more about yours...

That was a joke, you know...

Cost is not the first consideration, function is.  However cost is always a major part of any optics or firearm purchase.  WE always want "the "best" for the lowest price"... a nebulous description of need or want, but a description, none the less.  The trick is finding something that meets the functional requirements, allows one to fulfill all the stated (and sometimes unstated) objectices and still be within a "reasonable" budget (reasonable is different to different people).  IOW, don't expect Zeiss Diavari quality glass in a $300 scope.  If you do, you will be sorely disappointed.  The "best for xxx dollars" will not be "the best" (unless xx really equals xxxxx).

Of course I knew it was a joke and so was my response.  You didn't think otherwise I HOPE.  If you did I sure do apologize.  My OP was a tongue in cheek response to the blank post.

+1 to your scope recommendation criteria to!

Throw a Counter Sniper on that 375 H&H Mag. If you are ever in a battle against another sniper, at least you will have the upper hand.
