First time posting to this forum and this is definately the place to be.  I have a 25/06 and would like to have a scope that would get out to 600 yards.  I don't have to have top end, but I'd like to stay around $400 - $600 with target knobs and mil dot.  Even more important that price is to have good quality optics.  Can anyone make any suggestions about which scope I should purchase? Thanks

What is your shortest distance?
Is it a range gun or a hunting gun?
Is it a big gun or a small gun?
Do you want target turrets and why?
Do you want mil-dot and why?

With this, we can recommend SEVERAL good options.

The new Weaver SuperSlam might fit the bill also. If you can deal with a fixed power, I can see a SuperSniper in your future.
