So far, all of the users from China who have signed up on this forum have done so to advertise their products, so it is understandable why we were skeptical of your motives here.  I commend you for coming here and asking intelligent questions and not bombarding our forum with advertisements.

Most of us here have no quarrel with you or the Chinese people.  We know you are hard working and most of you want to do a good job and satisfy your customers.   We do, however, have a problem with your government and some of your companies, which makes many of us regret buying products made in China.  We would like to buy products from countries that consider us as friends, not enemies.  Your government does not always treat the U.S. as a friend and ally.  Chinese manufacturers are well known for copying other manufacturer's designs and not respecting product patents from other countries.  It is wrong to steal designs that others have invested heavily in time, money, and resources to produce.  Your government does nothing to stop this widespread theft.  Outside of China, this is considered unethical and illegal.

Then, there are the products coming from China.  Some Chinese products are of very good quality, but many are of very poor quality.  Although your optics manufacturing is getting better, my experience with rifle scopes made in China have not been good.  I realize that many components of scopes made in Japan, Philipines and elsewhere come from China.  But the only reason a manufacturer outsources the entire production of a rifle scope to China is to reduce manufacturing costs.  In order to reduce costs, product specifications are also frequently lowered to meet lower cost targets, which usually doesn't coexist with high quality.  Americans just want a good deal for the money spent.  We don't mind paying more for quality.

Quality means different things to different people, but very simply, it can be defined as "when the customer returns and the product doesn't."  Most of the "made in China" rifle scopes I've seen simply would not withstand long-term use in the manner it was intended -- maintaining zero and mechanical integrity over many years of recoil and abuse while mounted on a rifle.

Dear Friends

I have said I do not advertise here, I have not post any information about our corporate, right?

I just want to know sth about riflescope. As to the American Style for promotion and advertising, we need to know, if you could tell us?

I have got some feedback through competitor too, and we know how to do in the future.

Thanks a lot, all my dear friends.

lina, would your company be willing to supply a few product examples for 1st hand inspection by some of the members here?  Could provide you with more accurate info for improvement if we could see what your company currently produces.

Long term reliability testing is the manufacturer's job, not the customer's. If you, as a scope manufacturer, don't own large caliber rifles on which your products are tested on every day for months on end, how could you possibly know how they will hold up in the hands of customers? I've seen too many Chinese products which look good and work well out of the box but then fall apart within the first year under normal use.

If possible you should definitely send some samples here for long term testing. Plenty of people here would be willing to beat on these scopes for a while to see if they break. US customers are generally willing to give up extra features to get a basic product that they know will last for a long time.

To really test a scope you almost have to try to break it almost to prove its worth
