I just bought a new Remington Model 750 Woodmaster rifle in a .243 and I am going to buy a Super Sniper 10X42 scope and was wondering what mounts I need to get.  The rifle is brand new this year and there is no info on it in any of the ring specs.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hardwick46,

Depending on what manufacturer (Leupold, Burris, Talley etc...) you want to use, your gun uses the same bases as a 7400.  Here is a link to Remington's website that talks all about it.

Here is an example, if you choose to go with a Leupold, you could choose the STD or QR 1 piece bases.  It comes in Gloss or Matte finish.  You would have to have a ring high enough to clear the 42mm bell of the Super Sniper (Medium or higher would be good).  I hope that this helps.
