I recently bought a rem 700 VS in 22-250 and I'm going to put a Ziess 6.5-20x50 conquest on it. The question I have is what ring and mount combination would you recommend I order. I have a set of mark 4 med. rings is there a mount that is high enough for these rings or are these over kill for this gun. Thanks

The Mark 4 base may be high enough for that 50mm. The IOR base is pretty high too. Either one would be pushing it. If you can get it to work it definitely wouldn't be overkill at all.
