I am looking to buy a scope for my pellet gun,It's a gamo hunter 220, It's 1000 FPS I got some cheap 10 dollars scopes, But I can never center them it moves all over the place someone said it may have something to do with it not being shockproof, I am looking to use this for squirrel hunting I just want to see what kind of scope people thing I should use for this type of gun and for what I'm going to use it for, Looking forward to some responses thanks.

Air rifles destroy scopes because of their back-and-forth recoil. You need a scope designed for air rifles.

There are quite a few scopes out there rated for air guns.

If it is not specifically stated that the scope is rated for use with an airgun, you pretty much have to call the manufacturer and confirm.

If memory serves me right, Bushnell Trophy scopes are airgun rated and fairly inexpensive.

Depending on what you want to spend, Leupold makes several scopes that are airgun rated as well. They used to make a 6.5-20 EFR although I don't know if Chris here at SWFA lists that one anymore. Currently, their are several fixed and one 3-9 Ultralight EFR Leupolds.

I am willing to spend up to 100 Dollars, I need the scope to put on a Gamo Hunter 220, It is a 1000 FPS break barrel air gun, I use it for squirrel hunting, Any scope reccomendations based on what I would use it for and the type of gun it'd be used on?
