The "SampleList" started off years ago as a list of salesmen sample optics.  At the end of every year factory reps. would sell us their samples so they could replace them with new models for the new year.  Sometimes we would have a scope with a damaged box or come across a discontinued item in the warehouse that we no way of selling so we would just add it to the list of salesmen samples.  It grew over the years to include factory refurbished items, close-outs, trade-ins, display models and discontinued products.  We would advertise the list in print ads and fax it to customers upon request (this was before the Internet).  The "Sample List" has now transformed into an easily accessible web site that is categorized and alphabetized.  New products are added frequently so if you don't see what you are looking for check back often.

The Sample List - get hot deals from the world's largest online optics clearance site - salesman samples, factory refurbished merchandise, factory demos and display models, prototypes and one-of-a-kind items, discontinued and close-out models, products with missing or damaged packaging, and trade-ins. New items added daily. We take trades on optics, firearms, hunts, and more!

I posted under Rifle Scopes a question regarding  the warranty period of the Refurbished/Reconditioned Nikon Monarch scopes.  But perhaps this is a more appropriate place for gettting an answer to my question:

The 5.5-16.5x44 that I just received had a form with it that basically said I only have a 90 day warranty on this scope.

I am a bit surprised, as I have looked, and re-looked, and did not find a warning or disclosure of such a short warranty period. My understanding was that Nikon Monarch Scopes had a lifetime warrantly, per advertising on this site.

So, if I am incorrect in my interpretation of the form that accompanied the scope, please, please, please correct me!!

I would so like to be wrong on this!!

Regards,

Ron

Normally I would not Reply to such an old thread but as a new member I have been contemplating a purchase from 'The Sample List' and would be interested in an answer to the OPs question but perhaps I missed it.  Is the Warranty really only 90 days?  Thank you

different scopes carry different warranties.... Best to give SWFA a call directly if there is one particularly that you are interested in. They are a great company and I imagine you will be pleasantly surprised by the value you get off the samplelist.

On the top right hand side of the samplelist main page you can sign up for email alerts for it.

On SWFA's main page, on the right hand side, about three items down is a place to sign up for specials.
