I have a What is a Kahles 3-9 X42 with the Christmas tree reticle and was wondering what it is worth?

Is it a TDS and does it have the Multi-Zero feature? I don't believe Kahles put a true Christmas tree in the 3-9x42.

It should be worth $500-600. Less for trade in.

These were the AH reticles. Photo credited to the late Roy Finn.

500 to 600 give me a break. 75, 100 max. I will give you $125 right now just to give u a good deal.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

If memory serves me right the pre-CL Kahles American Hunter came with a TDS reticle.  That is probably what you have.

American Hunter was renamed into KX, while the CL had a related optical system except with an additional field flattener lens across the board and parallax adjustment in the 3-9x42 (and higher magnification) models.

These pop up on Ebay once in a blue moon and depending on the condition go for $400 to $600 dollars.

Koshkin is right, as usual.  I just recently purchased an AH with the TDS reticle.  Condition was good with some ring marks.  Gave $450 for it.
