I guess I'm ready to take the heat so here go's the question. I am topping a Remington 700 in 270 win. with most likely a new VX-R 1-4x24 or something in that range.

The rifle is a very nice looking over all and I thought that it might be further complimented if I were to use Rings and Base with a little engraving etc.. I was thinking of like a dual dove tail configuration. Where do you find such an animal that is factory made to keep cost reasonable?

I'm listing; what all do you offer and how can I see your work? I'm not sure about anodized for a classic look on a rifle; but I don't know what all can be done these days either.

Do you do the engraving as well? I would assume that if you did the only way I could afford the service is if it is done with a laser etc..

Here I should clarify that I am looking for a classic look that someone or some company makes and sales every day. This simply due to the fact that I assume it would be the only way I could afford them.

Sadly we do not have the equiptment to do engravings... I have some of our work posted in a Gun Candy forum under the rings and bases section.. You could also contact Tman we recently did a set of rings and bases for his mauser with a bronze barrel (rings and bases to match) If there is a certain color you want  more than likely if we dont have it we will get it since we like to acquire certain things Big Grin.. For a set of polished colored rings and bases we charged $65 Our supplied rings ($15 for Leupold Rifleman Rings) and he supplied the bases... I really think if your going traditional Bronze, Copper or Black Chrome would work really well although it is your preferance and I can only make suggestions... If its something we have here or something you ship to us its typically a 1 day turn around... And the $65 included shipping.  Any other questions or concerns just pm me and we could get the ball rolling.. And if you are really into the Engraving I might be able to do something with that since I do have mills and lathes availbable to me at work but I can NOT stand by how that would turn out exactly haha I am still fairly new to all of it...

I like the rings, I use Millet Angle-Locs a lot.. can you do them in bright gold metallic?  What size are they? 30mm or 1in?
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

There are some who do not fear death... for they are more afraid of not really living
