I got this back from Pac-Nor a couple months ago. Been playing with loads off and on. It started life as a Winchester Model 70 Coyote Lite in 270 WSM. I bought it at a local auction for a pretty fair price. I kept the stock and the action, everything else has been changed. It's a Pac-Nor stainless barrel, 25 inch in 300 WSM, fluted with a removable muzzle brake. 1-10 twist. CDI precision bottom metal, uses Accuracy International mags. Rifle Basix trigger, Badger rail and Warne rings.
I've been trying to find a load for 200 grain Accubonds. Not a real good time to do it as powder is hard to find. I do have some R19 and H4831SC though. I shot a couple of half inch groups at 100 yes. One with 64 grains, and one with 65 grains. Surprisingly, the loads in between were less accurate. They were 64.3, 64.6 and 64.8. I have two pounds of R17 on hand as well.  It's supposed to be the cats ass for WSM's. Load data is scarce though. Gonna call Nosler and Berger tomorrow. Anybody has any good loads for 300 or 270 WSM let me know please.
Played with my CZ550 in 9.3X62 while I was there too. I'm a hell of a lot less than thrilled with it. After multiple adjustments, the set trigger STILL only works about two out of three times. Either that trigger or the whole rifle is gonna go.

My 300 wsm loves 178gr. Amax's over 64.5gr of H-4350. 175gr SMK's like the same powder charge. But I am probably going to switch that rifle to 208's or 210's soon.

I have had great luck with H1000 and retumbo in the wsm family of rounds.

I had one of the Coyote Lite rifles in 300 WSM and it would bring the brass back and drop it due to the design of the extractor but I have seen some newer ones that used the old Win control feed system which I like better. Which does yours have?

Mine has the same as yours did. Your right, if you don't pull the bolt back with some snap, you have to reach in, and pull the case out by hand. If you eject a loaded round though, it will sling them ten feet. Inertia? My local gunsmith says that this is because Winchester uses the same action for the short action calibers as the WSM calibers. To make it eject more reliably will take take cutting the back of the ejection port an eighth inch or so because the spent case actually hits the inside of the port before it leaves the action.

I loaded some 210 VLDs before I switched to the 200 A.B.s. They shot very good at 2.890 but have to be loaded one at a time at that length. My magazine length is 2.865. With the VLD's "jumping" that far, they weren't as accurate.

I've heard good stuff about the H1000. I haven't seen any Hodgdon powder on the shelf in months though. Hopefully, I'll get some starting load data for the R17 I have on hand.
