Appreciate the kind thoughts.
All gunsmith work and cerakoting was done by Chuck MacIntosh (Mac's Gunworks).
The rifle is a trued Remington 700 SA (Left-Hand) action, and the factory trigger now breaks cleanly at 1.5 pounds.
Chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua.
Match chamber/no neck turn/Lapua brass/ 130 grain Berger VLD/ 40.7 grains H-4350/CCI-Small Rifle primer=MV 2838 fps.
Krieger 1-8.5 twist barrel (24") and a Mac Brake.
McRee chassis (Aluminum stock), with an added custom bag bar by Mac's Gunworks.
Scope: Leupold Mark 4 FFP 6.5-20 with ART Reticle.
Weighs a tad over 16.5 pounds.
Shoots sub 1/4 MOA @ 100 yards

Beautiful rifle, Ernie.  It will not feel uncomfortable around your "pistols"...

I like the caliber choice.  I don't own any left handed rifles, for some reason they have been sparse whenever I've been "hot" for a new one, but shoot both ways.  I guess you could say I'm "metro-handed"... (probably shouldn't have said that).

Excellent choices...

Really nice rifle Ernie! Just kinda amusing though, you have all those big thumping, magnum caliber short barreled pistols...And then a 29" 6.5x 47?

24" of barrel.  Of course, the brake make the OAL longer.
I think this has been one of the more common responses-"I'm surprised you are shooting a small cartridge."
With the main purpose being LR Shooting Classes, I wanted something that would be nill, in recoil, long throat life, and still be a good performer at distance.
Run a .552 BC @ 2840 fps, and it is a nice compromise.
IF, I had other purposes, I would run a 7mm SAUM, Something off of the 338 Lapua or Chey-Tac case.
Plus, I didn't want it to intimidate the specialty pistolsHippie

Nice rifle Ernie. I'm not suprized by your choice; for a rifle it fits you.

I would like to ask, where are the wheels, and the trailing spades? It almost looks like it came out of one of the three turrets on the U.S.S. New Jersey.
