Just getting back into the world of scoped rifles.
My first Weaver-a V16. Only other scopes are Leupolds.
Comparing the V16 with a Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x40EFR, I noticed the Weaver eyepiece focus does not show much change when turned in either direction, and the adjustable objective lens on the Weaver is off quite a bit compared to the actual distance I am trying to bring into focus--especially at higher magnification. All is clear and useable but very different from the VX--III which has a relatively sensitive eyepiece focus and a much more accurate adjustable objective lens.
Are these occurrences normal for the V16? Am I making an unfair comparison considering the price differences in the scopes?
Thanks for your thoughts.
