I was looking for that type of info on scopes and it's hard to find, if you can find any at alll. I'll guess it's because scopes are focused at either 100 yards or 50 yards, and the close focus ends up being whatever the depth of field is. The depth of field will probably largely depend upon magnification, f ratio of and the type of eyepiece used, where 'faster' optics with wide angle eyepeices will tend to produce less depth of field. Depth of field assumes an acceptable amount of blur, as the scope is still focused at 100 yds or 50 yds.

Just a guess though.

No, but that doesn't seem to matter as scope makers don't seem to routinely provide that type of data, even when it can be adjusted. The best that I could find is below:

http://www.6mmbr.com/optics.html

which also has a link to an older test:

I can help you with the T-36. Mine is adjustable to 50 feet. But mine is about 7 years old. The box shows that it was owned at the time by Blount out of Onalaska ,WI. Now I belive Weaver is owned by Meade. On a related note I recently purchased a used rifle that wears a Simmons Gold Medal Silhouette 24x scope that is a dead ringer for a T-24. According to the paper work it was purchased in 1997. I hope this helps.
