Hi all, haven't been around in quite some time.Nra Highpower is pretty time consuming. So besides slingshooting,I'm getting into F/TR this year.I will be shooting 600yd exclusively.Have my rifle sorted out and am looking for a new scope for it.I currently have a Sightron big skyII 6-24x42 and don't find it to be enough magnification.Too many irons in the fire to pony up for Nightforce or such so Im looking at the Weaver T series 36x40 or the Sightron BSII 36X42.I've been surfing and read qite a few comments from competitive shooters that the Weaver T is the best bang for buck in that price range. Is the Sightron worth the extra $200 ?

I use a Weaver T 36 x40 for silhouette shooting on a handgun from 50-500m. Seems to work great for a $400 scope. Thinking of getting another for a .22 Silhouette gun but may step down to the 24X as the range is from 25 to 100 yds (much smaller targets tho). |
