The Weaver K-1 series came out around 1973. They were a pretty good scope. I had one of those K6-1 scopes. Then in 1978 Weaver started building the Micro-Trac windage and elevation adjustments and they labeled the K-1 series with the Micro Trac label on the adjustment turret. The Micro Trac labeled scopes had better coatings, too, because those that I have had were brighter at dusk than the previous series Weaver K-1 scopes. As a matter of fact, the Weaver K4-1 Micro Trac that I had ( still have...) was brighter than a contemporary Leupold 4X M8 scope.
They go for all kinds of prices. In a gun store someone might put $129 on a used K6. On ebay they go for whatever.....I bought one two years ago for $50!!!
The Micro Tracs are worth more.........at least, to me.
