I picked up a older weaver K 2.5 made in USA on a used rifle I bought I would say it was made in the mid seventies. Its clear as a bell and has a fine duplex rectacle. Are these old weavers worth anything? Thanks in advance,

They are good scopes. If you are interested in selling it, let me know. As far as collectibilty.....not really. They steel make the K2.5 but it is an aluminum body vs. the stell body.

Good choice for your kid. My older Weavers don't click either. Just keep an eye on it when adjusting. I'm wanting a scope like that to put on my 742 Carbine. Guess I'll have to break down and buy new. lol

I've got one of those K2.5s and it is great.  If you want to buy a new one, better rush.  Weaver discontinued it, but some places may still have one in stock.
